This isnt what it says it is.
Comparing this transistor with an ON semi. 2N3771, and testing it electrically, I have come to the conclusion that this is a Chinese reproduction. I bought a bunch of these for a 100 amp 12 volt power supply that I am building, but I went with verifiable ON Semi. 2N3771 transistors. I am not saying that these are bad, just saying that you may want to verify that they will work in your application.
